A brief briefing

I have an update, replete with visuals! See here.

Also:

-Anna and Hudd are home. Welcome, conquering heroes! . . . I'm so glad they're back.

-Father's day was lovely. We had a delicious dinner and seriously great presents, but I didn't take any pictures. I suppose I won't be able to make all of you jealous and wish that your father's day celebrations were as good as ours (. . . then why am I even blogging about it? What's blogger for, anyway, if not to make all of your friends jealous?).

-I am itching to travel, and I keep wondering why we don't live in France. Curse having to be responsible and settle down in a real job! But for now we are looking forward to some more local getaways in our near future. I promise to report back about them (with pictures), and then I can resume making you jealous.

-Nora and I spend most of our days outside. I'm thinking of setting up a tent in the backyard and letting her live out there permanently.

-For those who didn't catch the sarcasm: I don't really want to make anyone jealous (nor do I think it's even possible).

Nora's hair is getting so long and she is as cute as ever! Grey really misses her though. Maybe in your near travels you should make it over to Minneapolis? That sounds like a great idea!

Hey Sarah, Great pics!!
Maurice and I love to getaway to close by locations. Some ideas if you have the itch: Driving to Big Sur- one of my favorite trips EVER. Also, Bishop, CA has some sweet canyons, a waterfall and hikes. Joshua Tree, Holcomb Valley (secluded camping in Big Bear)and of course San Louis Obispo with all the cool stuff, Nora would love the petting zoo at the applefarm. I'll be quiet now.
