We have a first word, folks!
Nora has been using sounds like "ma ma ma" and "dad da da" for a few months, but we've never been sure if she had actually assigned meaning to them. Yesterday she acted out what she was saying, so we know she means it.
The babe has spoken. Her first real word is:
GO!
"Go" is terribly fitting. Ever since she was born, Nora has been on the move. All she wants to do all the time is go, go, GO! (An unfortunate fact for her exhausted mother). Where did this little ball of energy come from? John and I are stumped. Is she really our child?
However, I've decided that this can be a good thing. No couch potato-ness, no wasting time waiting for someone else to make things happen. Nora will be able to take on the world with the tenacity of a dog. So I'll cheer her on and say, "Go, Nora. Go!"

Hey, so I was thinking, do you have a Disneyland pass? I might get one and I thought it would be cool if we met up there every once in a while. And it sounds like Nora and Kate could really work off their energy together.
